* Friday Night BBQ
The Friday Night BBQ, held in the Bienville Room at the wedding hotel, is an informal meal all out-of-town wedding guests are welcome to attend. Food will be provided by The Brick Pit. The Brick Pit is recognized by multiple associations as one of the top BBQ restaurants in the nation. The Brick Pit is also the winner of the Food Network's All American Tailgate Cookoff competition. In other words, this is good chow!
If there is a particular drink or side item that you would like to have with your meal, please feel free to bring it to the event. The hotel does not restrict what is brought into the Bienville Room. The bride and groom won't even ask you to share!

A range of Southern appetizers and finger-foods will be served at the afternoon reception, all prepared by Elizabeth Gregory of Spoons & Whisks. Guests who have not previously tasted cheese grits will be required to do so unless granted special dispensation, because cheese grits are awesome. Drinks will be available in the outdoor bar, free of charge.
